YOU'RE IN CONTROL
Delete your data
Paper Alert · Updated September 6, 2026
You can remove individual documents or request deletion of your saved Paper Alert data.
Delete from the app
Open a saved document and use its delete action to remove it. To remove all saved app data, open Settings and use the data-deletion control. Read the confirmation carefully: deletion cannot be undone.
Archive deletion covers the associated active document records, uploaded files, extracted fields, dates, retrieval data, and AI conversation history managed by Paper Alert. Cloud cleanup runs in queued background batches when connected; acknowledging the request does not mean every cloud copy is already physically removed. Device reminders are cancelled by the app where it can access them. Check Android notification settings and any exported calendar events separately.
Request help by email
Email [email protected] with the subject “Paper Alert data deletion request.” Include the app's support or device identifier if available and tell us whether you want to delete a specific document or all your data. Do not email copies of sensitive documents or payment details.
We may need to verify that you control the records before deleting or disclosing them. If your app uses an anonymous device identity, keep the app installed and retain access to the session while your request is handled.
What needs a separate action
- Uninstalling the app alone does not delete cloud records.
- Exported calendar events, shared files, and copies saved elsewhere remain under your control in those apps.
- Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Google Play.
- Service-provider backups, security logs, or legally required records may be retained under the provider's policies or applicable requirements.
